It seems as if everyone is out to get our money. Exploding costs and more and more products and services are vying for our attention. Media focuses its attention on the “back” attacks by their advertisement on our children, our needs, our fears and emotions. Okay, well that is not part of new, but it certainly is effective.
Brand recognition is crucial for the highly competitive retail products and customer service and reputation is the variable that either makes or breaks the deal.
So why has not this competition is changing the way we buy cars?
Remember back in the 70 years? The good old days when buying a new car meant a stroll on the next game cheesy car to get abused by a smooth, fast talking ‘dude all decked in their best disco.
How is it that even though the clothes have changed, and cheese-factor, the smooth, fast, there Talking ‘dudes yet? And do seem better than ever before.
Today’s car dealers boast increased customer support and service, touting special employee that serve only you. They preach their employees are very customer oriented and are here to serve you every need.
But are they?
As consumers, we really have a false sense of security when it comes to car dealer and buy our cars developed. Certainly things are not like they were just a few decades ago. Company that is not to meet growing customer base not always right mantra are certainly those that do not last long.right?
Well, I’m here to say that the wolf has certainly bears out the disco-70′s garb.and now a clean white shirt, trousers and tie entered. Folks, the wolf is alive and well and waiting for you to fall victim to get his fake loyalty to you.
How did they slip through the cracks? How do they manage to maintain their huge profitability through all social demands for better customer service? How is it that we are still on the experiences that we do when we bear to go buy a car?
I am here to say that car dealers have adapted very well. No longer are they wolvesnow they are lions.
Our generation of car buyers were given a false sense of security through the Internet. We think that simply knowing the Internet, what the dealer invoice, is that we have a sense of power it. Well, actually, all we know, what they allegedly paid for the vehicle. This does not mean they are going to gnash their teeth and say: “Oh damn, Frank and Betty Smith took our hidden secret account amount now we need it to sell it for that!”
Not at all, my friend.
Sure, the dealer is motivated to sell cars. If they do not sell you a car, they do not win. But if they do not profit from selling them is not a car.
The myths still exist, the dealer, the secrecy is what has kept it as profitable by the turn of the millennium.
Who monitors treated the car to make sure everything was handled fairly and pay a fair profit for the car? Who is watching to ensure those people with really bad credit back on track to rebuild her life with her car loan?
It’s like the witch in Hansel and Gretel charge of the health regime, “what in it for them” is much larger than that, “what’s in it for them.”
The only people watching for you if you are buying car, you are. It’s up to you to be vigilant and protect yourself, your credit card, and your money. You can rely on the lion stalking, or if you call going to count in the game. You can count on them to do still more money from you than you in a month or two do your job. Count on it. And if you’re not careful, it is true.
It will take longer than the Internet, to protect you from these predators. You have to see when buying a car in a different light. A new generation of car buyers emerge in order to keep these dealers at bay and not let them bully and trick us into handing over all our hard earned money and credit rating.
